Phone warning explained

What does “Storage Full” mean?

The phone has too little free storage for normal operation, updates or new files.

Common causes

  • Large photos and videos
  • Downloads or offline media
  • App caches and data

What to try first

  1. Review storage by category
  2. Back up before deleting
  3. Remove large unneeded downloads first

What not to do

  • Do not install cleaner apps from unknown publishers
  • Do not erase irreplaceable data without a verified backup
Stop if the phone is unsafe

Disconnect power and stop using a swollen, smoking, leaking, physically damaged or extremely hot phone. Contact the manufacturer or a qualified repair provider.

When support may be needed

Contact the carrier for account, SIM/eSIM, PUK, coverage or network-lock issues. Contact the manufacturer or qualified repair provider when the warning follows impact, liquid, unsafe heat or persistent built-in hardware failures.
