What does “Unable to Activate” mean?

The phone or cellular line could not complete activation.

Common causes

  • Internet or carrier outage
  • SIM/eSIM provisioning issue
  • Account or server requirement

What to try first

  1. Use a stable connection
  2. Restart and retry once
  3. Check the manufacturer's and carrier's system status

What not to do

  • Do not erase an old eSIM prematurely
  • Do not share account passwords
